Malthus, also known as "Infernus", was a Great Wizard, the last of the Fire Summoners. His great power over fire elementals could rival the Ben-nu Fireborn himself, but he also was eagering to handle the fearsome and unpredictable fire of Hell... unfortunately, his experiments with it went so wrong, resulting in his very soul being burnt out, and his blood becoming pure flames, causing him great pain.
But, in this state, he had absolute power over both kinds of fire, although he needed to stay cool in order to keep himself alive. He retired to the Northern snow lands, seeking for the ancient Ice Overlord, the only being strong enough to chill the fire running through his veins!
